'Lowestoft Diver'

Lowestoft Diver gallery

After the club was forced to sell Sub 'C' we bought a RIB so we could continue to dive off the Lowestoft coast and possibly further around the British Isles. A lot of names were suggested for the new RIB and we eventually decided on 'Lowestoft Diver'.

More details on the specification of the clubs RIB will be uploaded shortly.

Sub 'C'

Sub 'C' was the clubs principal dive boat for fourteen years and

was maintained by the clubs long standing Equipment Officer Dave G Whitlam.

The Sub 'C' was a 21 ft Planing hull hardboat built by Aqua Bell Marine,

powered by an evenrude 140 hp V4 outboard engine.

It had the capacity to carry eight divers plus full kit.

She was fully equipped with GPS, echo sounder, VHF radio, and carried an oxygen administration kit.
