Club's snorkelling challenge coins it in

Ten members of Lowestoft Sub Aqua Club raised a total of £418 in a sponsored snorkel. They started at Flixton and travelled down the River Waveney to the Otter Trust at Earsham - a distance of about 2 1/4 miles - in an hour-and-a-half. On reaching the Otter Trust they enjoyed a hot drink and free admission to the centre. The money raised will be split between the trust and the club. Members will present a cheque for £209 to the Otter Trust at the annual meeting on Wednesday, November 23, in the Mutford Suite, at the Wherry Hotel, Oulton Broad (7pm).
