Some pictures from 2001 Carnival and Pleasurewood hills

On the 12th of August 2001, Dave W. Whitlam organised the Lowestoft Sub Aqua Clubs entry into the Lowestoft carnival. To make the float, Dave adapted his Land Rover giving it a snorkel and mask. The sides were decorated with pictures of portholes each containing a different image and fairy lights were strung around the roof. T-Bird, being towed behind, was also decorated. Two homemade banners advertising the clubs web address were hung along the tubes and a clever electronic box projected a laser show onto a sheet which was covering the A-frame. Several members of the club collected money for carnival dressed in dry suits and wet suits which was good dress sense considering the weather on the day.
