The British Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1953 and is recognised as the
governing body for the sport. It has over 55,000 members which makes it the
biggest diving club in the world. It's web site includes a mail shop selling
BSAC branded items and training materials, a section on interactive learning
which tests your diving knowledge on-line, a general forum where you can
discuss topics of interest, the NDC diving incident report, a search facility
to help you find a branch or a school, links to branch web sites and much
more.
Diver magazine was distributed to all full members of the British Sub-Aqua
Club up until last year when the club decided to print it's own magazine.
The website contains all articles and features from Diver dating back to
January 1996. It has over 450 web pages to browse through on just about
everything to do with diving. Features from the magazine include stories
and observations written by divers about their experiences and there is a
feature theorising on the future of scuba diving.
The UK's largest chain of discount dive stores. This site is very easy
to navigate and is particularly useful if you are interested in the prices
of scuba diving equipment.
