When the clubs old compressor became uneconomical to repair in 2004, Mick Creamer sent Glynn Conolly and Simon Boor to the Pakefield locality budget meeting. Suffolk County Councillor for Pakefield ward, Roger Bellham allocated £1,000 towards the purchase of a new compressor for the club. Roger Bellham was invited to the quarterly dry meeting at the Wherry hotel in Oulton Broad on Wednesday the 2nd of March 2005 to present the cheque.
